Women's History Month 2023
Since March of 1987, Women’s History Month is celebrated annually. The purpose is to amplify women’s voices around the world, to honor the contributions that women have made in the past, and to recognize the progression women continue to make in contemporary society.
March 1 -WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH KICKOFF

Students are to submit a 500-word or one-page essay on how they will learn and reflect on Women's International Day (ex: researching persons that identify as women's culture, identity, history, etc.) The submission deadline has been extended to March 10, 2023 11:59pm. Students may submit essays to charah.mckinzie@siu.edu. Winners will be announced via email. Thank you!
