Safe Zone Training

Beginning in 1995, SIU Carbondale's Safe Zone program is one of the oldest in the nation. Our Safe Zone training sessions educate the SIU Carbondale Community about LGBTQIA+ communities and individuals. Participation as an ally in the SIU Safe Zone program helps to create a campus that is inclusive and affirming.
